Today in CRT we  did colourblock landscape   . I  did the background first then I  did mountains using poly-line. I also  a hose  and

From Thursday 22nd – Friday 23rd August we stayed at Rāpaki Marae. When we arrived we were formally welcomed in a ceremony called a pōwhiri. 

Matua Issac talked about the special artworks, carvings and tukutuku panels in the wharenui. He also told us about how to be respectful of marae tikanga, like not wearing shoes or taking food into the wharenui. 

We did lots of activities such as walking to the beach, weaving, drawing the ancestors on the pou, making rākau and singing waiata. 

My favourite part of the noho marae was the beach because I like picking up crabs.

Something I learnt while at the marae was how to weave.

The RISE value I showed the most was empathy because I helped Alira when she was sad by sitting next to her.   

I would like to go back to the marae because I would like to go to the beach again.

for Monday mush up  we have been learning one of aotearoas offial languages first we learnt the laphabet and how to

count to 10 .Next we learnt how to say hello my name is  finally we learnt how to spell  our names. This is a video of me introducing myself in NZSL. I have also learnt 2 extra words which are cat, and dog.

Today we learnt what things we shouldn’t share online and what we can share online.

Dragon Eyes 

On Friday afternoons, we do Action Stations. This term, I chose to make Dragon Eyes.

First, we read some descriptions of dragons and identified their characteristics.

Then we completed a planning sheet, considering what we wanted our dragon to be like. We thought about personality, colour and features.

I decided I wanted my dragon to look fiery. It is friendly. 

After, we used the clay.  We rolled and shaped it.

Finally, we painted them.
